I brought my 10yo lab mix to Dr Dayna for a check up and the encounter was beyond expectations! My furkid gets a little anxious at vets, as she had a tooth removed years ago and her waking up from anesthesia left a lasting negative image for her when it came to vet visits. However, Ela was totally at ease at Dr Dayna's office. No nervousness; just happy curiosity for the whole exam.
Dr Dayna very clearly knows her stuff and is passionate about the animals she cares for. I absolutely recommend Mountain Peaks Vet for your next critter check-up!
Our little man needed extensive dental surgery. Dr. Dayna and her staff were so caring and took time to explain everything. After the surgery, we couldn’t get him to take the pain pills. We tried hiding them in all different foods and tried crushing them, to no avail. Dr. Dayna actually made a house call to inject pain medication! This went above and beyond the usual care one would expect.
Dr. Dayna is the absolute best vet you could ever ask for! She takes such good care of our dogs and they love visiting her clinic. So reasonably priced, don’t go to any other vet in Steamboat!
