Animal Care Center is the place to go! After moving here with a reactive dog, we feared going to the vet. When the time came several months later that our dog needed emergent care, we did a Google search, crossed our fingers, and took her to Animal Care Center. From the beginning, each of their staff were kind and understanding of our situation and got us in impressively quickly after calling and asking for help (both times)! In these small mountain towns, finding vet care, especially in emergent situations and with challenging animals, can be difficult if not near impossible. I feel so grateful to the staff at Animal Care Center, especially Dr. Wendy!

So, so grateful for Animal Care Center! I moved to the area last November and wanted to get my dog and cat established with a vet in the area. After our first routine vaccine visit with Dr. Wendy we proceeded to later on have a bat exposure “emergency” and then today we had another emergency when my dog ate his dog brother’s medication. Both emergencies Dr. Wendy and her competent team worked us in right away and were very efficient and straight forward with the treatment plan. My dog can be fearful at the vet but they always allow me to be apart of the process which helps to ease some of his stress. They always take such great care of our senior dog and excellent post surgery followups. Super timely prescription refills too. Have also used the afterhours online virtual vet service on their website to assist with post-surgery healing concerns that happened over a weekend and that service was incredible too.
