    We were in town on vacation on Tuesday evening. Our dog had very bad diarrhea after two days of extensive travel . We called around for an emergency vet. We were quoted an office fee plus a $200 call out. We gave all the information about our dog. Dr Martin said he would see her but did not think the 10 hours until they opened in the morning would be crucial, and would save $200. That was a long night of worry. We showed up the next morning for our appointment. Our Frenchie was given an exam. The vet was very informed about the breed. After an extensive exam, he confirmed his diagnosis gave her a pill, recommended a change in her food and sent us on our way. The relief... read full review

    I would give this veterinary hospital and its staff 20 stars if I could! We are new to the area and noticed our dog was having ear pain this morning. We called a few of the local centers and Best Friends is the ONLY one that went out of their way to get us in quickly! And thank goodness they did!! We found out within minutes of arrival that our sweet 14 year old pup had cheatgrass burrowed into his ear canal. The doctor and vet tech acted quickly, and got him sedated to remove it within minutes.     We've been going here for 16 years. Dr. Martin is very matter of fact. He won't rack up a bill for clients. If he see's something is not necessary he won't suggest it.He's had our dog since he was a puppy. Our dog is an Alaskan Malamute now 16 Dr. Martin was closed so went to another vet cause he was having trouble breathing they wanted to sedate him and X-ray. We decided to wait for Dr. Martin. He looked at us and said he could have cancer but what could we do- he's too old to be operated on and too old to even sedate without worrying he wouldn't wake up.
