“Such an all-around excellent experience working with The Little Guy Pavers! Needed a beautiful low lying retaining wall at the dead-end of my street, for a flower bed. Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up.<br><br>The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery.<br><br>They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent! “Tom and Anthony are simply the best. My boyfriend and I are new to Colorado, and failed to winterize our sprinkler system before it got cold over Thanksgiving, leading to a busted vacuum breaker and other cracked/leaking pipes. In a panic, I called a few companies and Tom was the only person that called me back, and quickly, too! He was so gracious with his time right from the beginning, and came to my house the very next day. Anthony and Tom worked on the repairs together, and I was very impressed with how knowledgeable they both were. I had a million questions, and they were both happy to explain what was going on, what had caused the issues, and what they were doing to fix it. They were upfront on pricing and never tried to hid the ball. Anthony even crawled underneath our house to turn off the water valve, which I didn't know was down there. All in all, they spent about three hours on the system and were very pleasant to be around. “System Pavers took a backyard of failed concrete jobs and made it beautiful. They removed tons of concrete, graded for necessary drainage, installed a low retaining wall and then those gorgeous Aspen and Tuscano pavers. Julio and his hard working crew were a joy to work with! Project Manager Jesus checked in everyday to update us on progress. We did have a grading/drainage issue that came up which we worked through and found a workable compromise. The warranty package gives me peace of mind, and a patio party to enjoy those views is in our near future!“

Yes, it's a home that we love, but there was one feature of it that we rolled our eyes at every time we had to look at it - our concrete. We've lived in 5 states (4 of them cold weather states), and we've never seen the concrete degradation issues we've seen here in Arvada. TERRIBLE! Our community has hundreds of homes with similar issues. They call it spalling. Never heard that term until I moved here. Our entryway was the worst and our steps were just disintegrating under our feet. Looking at it, and our driveway, was excruciatingly painful. The AMK Hardscapes team replaced our concrete with concrete pavers, beautified our home, and most importantly made us ecstatically joyful about the decision we made to make this investment.
