Had an amazing experience learning at Clutch! This was my first time getting on a bike as the driver, and I was definitely a bit nervous! Coach Mark did a great job walking our class through all of the different drills and answering our questions along the way, and gave clear and helpful feedback for us to improve upon. The drills never felt rushed, and I always felt comfortable going to Coach Mark with my questions. On the last day after our tests, Coach Mark took the time to go over questions about gear, what to look for when buying bikes, ways to continue improving through other classes, etc., which made the big next steps of buying our first bikes feel less daunting! I’m so glad I took my class at Clutch and with Coach Mark! Would highly recommend for anyone considering getting their license.
I recently did the beginner Clutch class, First, I’d like to start out by saying the overall the class step-by-step makes it very easy to understand every part of the motorcycle and why everything is so important, not only the machine, but what you need to be doing while you’re operating the bike. My instructor, Terry, right off the bat gave off an incredible Laid-back attitude towards hard work, and learning, his method of teaching was playful, but serious, like a comfortable pressure. In times of uncertainty and stress he made it very easy for me to keep that out of my mind and just focus on the important factors of successfully completing the new learning curve. Personally walking away from the class, I completely understand the importance of the clutch, and by using the techniques showed I was able to be successfully do important maneuvers that will be used constantly In my day to day riding. I highly recommend the class if you’re a beginner and very unsure about riding, or how the machines operates, you will learn so many Valuable skills, techniques, and knowledge of what is important and what not to do In motorcycle situations of the world. I cannot say enough about Terry, and how great of an instructor he is, he observed everybody as their own person, and knew exactly what to say to make us all successful. There were moments in my personal experience where I was struggling a bit, and he knew exactly what and how to say, what I needed and it just clicked, and made my riding more confident and prepared me for my future as a licensed motorcycle rider. I also got the opportunity to see Terry practice early morning and you could definitely tell this guy was an EXPERT. I feel honored and privileged to have him as my teacher.
