There really aren't enough words for how grateful we feel to Andy Cummings and his team for the excellent job the did refinishing our wood floors. We had the floors redone just a few years ago by a less than professional person and they didn't hold up well at all. Andy came, gave us an exact bid (which was more than fair), and then performed all the work exactly as described with no 'surprise' charges. We have dogs, so Andy came up with a plan to make sure his work would withstand their nails and general rowdiness. His team could not have been more professional and considerate...they were an absolute delight. We are beyond thrilled with the results and recommend his services without hesitation.
We recently replaced the engineered oak flooring in a rental home in Boulder. We were unable to find finished flooring which would match the stairs, so Andy, the owner, suggested purchasing raw lumber and staining the flooring to match the stairs. The result far exceeded my expectations as far as quality of workmanship and the overall beauty of the floor. The grain and color of the new floor align perfectly with the existing stairs. Throughout my dealings with Andy I found him to be honest and genuinely concerned with providing a superior product. He kept to the original estimated time frame. I felt the cost for the project was very reasonable. Laurie M

The only issue was the sheen of the finish he put on (glossy) didn't match the sheen in our house (satin) and so we'll have to sand/refinish with the correct sheen. Still totally worth it for the price, a custom job, and being willing to work with us on getting the price down if we did a fair bit of the install/prep work/labor. Threshold looks great and we were able to whitewash it ourselves to match our barn...read full review
