We were happy with the work. Then, we owed alot of money for 2023 taxes. I called several times, left messages and he actually told me that he was "too busy" before 4/15. I get it. But we are responsible for hefty quarterly payments and wanted to ask some questions and get some advise. Never answered the phone. Then, we get a postcard that his son is now a realtor and he gave/ sold whatever, our information to his group. If this is not ethical, what is. Hope to get our records so they are not given/sold to anyone else. Shameful! Thanks for nothing. Nepotism is alive and well at the Mark Schell Accounting firm. Beware! Our advise: go elsewhere. Smart, fast, and personable characterizes Mark Schell. He's usually very busy, but always finds time to answer questions. He's found deductions my former CPA missed. He's probably more expensive than some others, but he probably saves me much more than his fees. Getting the best is rarely regrettable.
