Always helpful and friendly staff. Honest and transparent about suggested medications and treatments. Really care about your pets and want to make sure they’re doing what’s best for them.
This veterinary practice is a gem. It's a kind, yet efficient, family enterprise with Dr. Harbert in charge of the surgery. Seeking common sense care for our two Border Collies and elderly, diabetic kitty--I can confidently say we found the right place. Dr. Harbert initially examined our pets for routine prescriptions and vaccinations; we were able to quickly get appointments, fill prescriptions (flea, tick, heartworm, etc) and were pleasantly surprised with reasonable prices. Then one day, our beloved 10 year old Border Collie became very ill. He'd sustained scrapes and punctures while out running in the mountains with a family member and seemed OK, but soon after returning home he started to run a fever, developed a limp and swelling, and before we knew it, he was in serious danger. We took him to Dr. Harbert, and we're so glad we did. Our dog's recovery was long and arduous, involved a buffet of antibiotics, lab tests and ultimately surgery. But Dr. Harbert's treatment at every step was skilled, well informed, logical and also mindful of the bill in a situation that easily could have cost 10x more without better results. In the end, he saved our dog's leg--and his life. Thanks to Dr. Harbert and the family that keep this practice running--the mountains are once again calling and we must go.
I would agree with other reviewer that it feels like a small town practice and is a place where the folks are experienced and they really care about you and your animal. They took us in like we were their own, even on short notice, and got us the care we needed. Thank you most especially to Linda who has been there for us every step of the way. My little terrier says THANK YOU Mountain View ❤️?⛰️!
