I brought in an expensive shirt and they said it was ripped. There was a rip in the arm pit, and there were two rips 1 cm long and 1 cm apart in the exact same spot. Very odd
I think they damaged my shirt. I don't recall catching it on anything once and for sure not twice.
After an awful experience today at Super Cleaners I felt it a consumer duty to warn others to stay away from this business. While the quality of the cleaning was always average, nothing too bad, nothing too good. Average. The prices have always been very high but they were close so I felt some value in that aspect. I've been going there for a year now with nothing but friendly exchanges with the female who works there. Very pleasant. But today there was a male there working. I always approach people with a kind and gentle demeanor. He was openly hostile right from the opening. As he processed the invoice my clothes came down the line and stopped 10 inches from me. I asked him if I could help and just take the clothes off the hook. He snapped abruptly and in a high voice said 'don't touch my stuff, don't do my job'. I said I was only trying to help. He said I don't need nor want your help. This was a first. He said take your things and added sarcastically, see you. I said no you won't and walked out. I realize people have bad days and maybe he had one today. But this was uncalled for behavior in a social environment much less a business. Very rude and unprofessional. Find another place for quality and value.
I consider this post to be of community service. The man at the front has never been friendly or kind. But today he took it to a whole new level. I brought in my son's suit pants to be dry cleaned not knowing it was ripped near the pocket. When he pointed it out to me, I apologized and asked if it could be repaired. He told me never to come back as if I purposely brought in a pair of ripped pants and was trying to swindle him. Incredibly unprofessional and rude. Go ELSEWHERE if given a choice. This is not the type of business or option we want in our neighborhood.
