Dr. Michalik is by far the best oral surgeon I've ever met. I wasn't just your normal extraction patient. 6 extractions and my first time under GA. He is very attentive. Very knowledgeable and made me feel so safe and so un-self conscious. He is wonderful!!!!

Took 2 of my kids to have their wisdom teeth out 12/27/2018. That weekend my daughter's face became extremely swollen. The on-call dr, Dr Lessig, told us that was normal and to give it a few days. We waited and there was no improvement it only got worse. We called back on New years day and never received a call back from the on-call Dr (Lessig). They finally put her on antibiotics. The infection came back 2 more times. After seeing her again near the end of Feb, Dr Michalik told us it appeared the infection was finally gone. Tues March 5 it was back...I called them Weds am an made an appt for that afternoon at 3. After conferring with my daughter she said she couldn't go then due to a school conflict. I called them back and canceled that appointment, with Stephanie and made one for the following Tues March 12 at 8am. My daughter was home when I called back and I had the phone on speaker so she could hear dates and times they had available so she could figure out if they worked with her school, work and soccer schedule. Due to the fact Michalik doesn't work on Thur and Fri are OR days and they don't take appointments and they are only open until like 4:30 that was the earliest I could get her in. Since it was going to be a few days they decided to put her on antibiotics. Stephanie tried to call it into Walgreens but they had a system wide phone issue so she couldn't get thru. My husband told her he could come pick it up (having to leave work) and drop at walgreens. In the meantime I found out King Soopers takes our insurance so I called Stephanie back and asked her to call it into Kings. Her response was NO, I already printed it and had the dr sign it you have to come get it. I told her my husband and I were both working and that if she could call it in that would save us leaving work and a trip to their office. She was very rude and said no you have to come get it...On Tues March 12 my daughter showed up at 7:45 (15 minutes early like we were told when we made the appt with Stephanie) at the Littleton office (they have 3) and was told they did not have her on the schedule and that she missed her appt the previous weds... the one we canceled with Stephanie. SO what we miraculously picked the right office to go to that day???????? After a bunch of back and forth they finally agreed to see her and had to cut her infected area open, irrigate it and stitch it back up....2 and 1/2 months after her initial appt.... Dr Michalik was nice everytime we met with him, the back office staff is friendly and helpful. The front office staff, especially Stephanie, is terrible. They can be rude and unhelpful when you call in and they are not always very inviting when you check in for your appt. My son also got an infection, not nearly as bad tho. So 2 kids, 2 infections and I am left with a bad taste having to deal with the office staff. My biggest recommendation? Get rid of Stephanie....

I would give them ten stars if I could. Not only did Dr. Michalik see me through three surgeries total (my body chose not to cooperate), he made sure I understood my treatment plan and each of the procedures every step of the way. The entire staff is so thoughtful and friendly, and Dr. Michalik personally called me the night of the surgery to check on me (all 3 times). I can't say enough great things about this group. On professional, personal, procedural and financial levels, they exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't have wanted to pursue my treatment plan ANYWHERE else.
