If you're in search of custom cabinets for a kitchen and bath renovation or new build, Trip is a great resource. I've worked with him on a couple projects now and look forward to doing so again. He's very aware of the possible roadblocks and helps navigate around them...great experience.

If you’re thinking of remodeling yourself or doing some of the work and hiring some contractors to do some then you really need precise, detailed plans. They’ll help you make sure it will work before you start, but also enable contractors to provide good estimates and do the work how you envision it. Trip gives paper plans and also 3-D color renderings that I referred to regularly. It was totally worth the price and more! 100% recommend. Very experienced and great taste in design.

In an industry with cabinet showrooms on every corner and big boxes in between, Trip's business model is a bit out of the ordinary. Design First is not a typical kitchen and bath outfit. We are extreme-planners, over-thinkers, and predictors of the future. Like "your going to wish you had a trash pullout here". The design is where you start. Design First Kitchen and Bath

Design First is the company that assists you with putting your wants and needs of a remodeling project on paper first. Before one nail is removed we design the room with your thoughts, wishes and desires carefully planned to meet the objective of the living space. You will receive the full CAD blueprint, 3D "as built" drawings, items listed for what you need, budget spreadsheet and more. We approach a remodeling project a bit different than most designers. We design it and plan it before you jump into the project. Having the DESIGN FIRST will answer the questions first.
