I struggled with low blood sugar for as long as I could remember, as far back as my teens. I was continuously eating high-protein snacks and meals to avoid the dips in glucose levels and the brain fog and physical shaking that came with them. I first came to Dr. Darlene when I was down on my luck with 56 food allergies ranging from mild reactions to anaphylactic to falling asleep at the wheel twice after eating lettuce. Western medicine had no way to cure my allergies and only could offer allergy shots, but I didn't have the time nor the money to do them.
