To her credit the woman at this store did say that she would not be able to do the zipper replacement due to the down stuffing alongside the zipper, which I respect more than taking the coat and cutting it up … and then not being able to replace the zipper. I will keep looking. No hard feelings towards this business. Sad that Schawn’s dry cleaner and tailor is seemingly closed.):

I have had boots reheeled and mended and jeans hemmed here. Always a good job at a reasonable price. She even preserved the "distressed look" on the hem of one pair of jeans.

This is my go-to tailor and shoe repair, owned by a lovely husband and wife team. They have been able to fix several pairs of shoes I thought would be impossible to rescue. My clothes and shoes have always been finished on time. I cannot for the life of me understand these negative reviews.
