Laya and her crew were fantastic to work with on the repair of our roof and gutters after the Lakewood hailstorms in 2023. Laya communicated thoroughly the entire process, clearly walking us through every step with our insurance and the process of roof repair. We are especially for the attention to detail and care she provided helping us select new shingles and gutters for our new roof — and it looks absolutely amazing! Laya was a great advocate for us with our insurance company- we had lots of problems with them and she was persistent in giving them information and pinning them down on our claim. She always let us know- by text, email, phone call or a personal visit- what was going on.She listened well to what we wanted for the roof and was able to find material that fit what we were looking for. The roofers came when expected and worked hard, cleaned up well (she warned us it would be hard to get every little bit with our shrubbery near the house, but they got most of the debris), and they were respectful. A large portion of our shingles blew away during the last big Green Mountain wind storm. Laya with Family Roofing was excellent in helping us get our roof fix. Our homeowners insurance company was quite difficult to work with but Layla's knowledge and advocacy helped us get the job done.
