I have been using her mobile phlebotomy services since Aug 2022 when my adult son with a serious mental health condition required weekly blood draws due to a newly prescribed medication. Kelli has been a lifesaver! She is a truly skilled phlebotomist, always prompt, professional, kind and thorough. “I missed the deadline and Apria Great Escapes went the extra mile to get the paperwork processed and my device delivered. I had some trouble with the equipment.- I was not given a user guide. It is pretty simple, but there were several things that I did not figure out that caused some trouble.- For one thing, the device came with a DC power supply for a vehicle cigarette lighter. I never found a DC-in plug on the device, so I could not use it. Our vehicle had an AC inverter, so I did not call for help.- On my flight, I ran out of O2. We planned for 1.5 times the flight time as instructed. I later discovered that the device automatically changes from pulse to constant flow if you do not take a few breaths. I had taken the canula off while stuffing it under the airplane seat... it really does not fit, but the airline approved it. I think the constant flow ran the battery down.- On the return flight I got another shock! Even though I ensured that the unit was at my flow rate and in pulse mode, I noticed that it had changed to constant flow! I had to pull the unit out a bit every few minutes because I would feel the flow change to continuous. I made sure the O2 flowed freely and was in pulse mode after I reset it each time. Frustration! I ran out of O2 again even though I checked it constantly. I did not notice this behavior when not on the airplane. I made sure nothing was touching the controls... who knows!0All-in-all, I appreciated Apria's help but was not happy with the unit I used. A user guide might have helped.Charles Taylor“
