This is way beyond a typical chiropractic experience. Think chiro meets Physical therapy, meets athletic training. Our son had a rapid growth spurt that caused structural changes in his bones, tendons, and ligaments. He is a multisport athlete and the pain was excruciating making him unable to practice or play the sports he loves. We were at a loss in what to do and had tried numerous other therapies including chiro and PT. When we found Dr Jake, we were really attracted to his multifaceted approach to care. Sessions were intentional and VERY comprehensive. He focused on relieving the pain through multiple treatment modalities including dry needling, cupping, muscle scraping, and massage. But then he addressed the corrective piece through range of motion exercises as well as an at home program that was unique to our son and progressed every week. Nothing was cookie cutter. It was all designed uniquely. We had an app to follow at home with videos that showed exactly how to do the exercises leaving zero guess work that printed pictures or written instructions can cause. He was so encouraging to us as parents as well as to our child and not only prescribed, but coached and cheered him on. It wasn't easy but it was intentional and SO worth the work! I will encourage everyone to STICK WITH THE PROGRAM! It pays off! You cannot go to the gym and stare at the equipment and expect it to work for you. Healing is also not linear. There were good days and hard days during the recovery process, but when breakthrough happened, the results were well worth the effort. You will not regret your experience with Dr Jake!
