I had a total shoulder replacement in Nov '22. While working with another therapy clinic, I was feeling discouraged by the lack of progress in regaining my range of motion. At my 3 month follow-up appointment with the surgeon, he was concerned enough with my lack of progress that he recommended a manual manipulation of my shoulder while under anesthesia in order to break up scar tissue. The procedure comes with fairly significant risk and isn't necessarily a fix all. It was during this appt while examining my elbow/wrist that something occurred that caused significant nerve pain. As I sit here thinking about the past couple months, I can't believe that I am pain free and moving on with my life. What a lucky break that I found Ascent Therapy Clinic in Littleton. I went in for help with severe sciatic pain, low back issues, knee pain and arthritis pain in my hand. I knew I was in the right place as soon as I was pleasantly greeted by Arby and Lauren, the clinic's admin staff. They directed me to my PT, Dr. Jeff Mils. Jeff explained what he hoped to do for me, including a succinct description of dry needling, a fabulous addition to the home exercise program he gave me. My husband had to have a second knee replacement to the same knee last December. He fell right after we arrived in CO from CA and he did irreparable damage. Needless to say we were terrified of everything. But on Dec 21, Dr Charlie Yang and his team went in and fixed it. .......fast forward We then had to start PT and my husband was needless to say, healing at an amazing rate on his own. We chose Ascent as his PT therapy. From day one, Will was amazing. Not pushy, worked at my husbands pace.
