I had a total shoulder replacement in Nov '22. While working with another therapy clinic, I was feeling discouraged by the lack of progress in regaining my range of motion. At my 3 month follow-up appointment with the surgeon, he was concerned enough with my lack of progress that he recommended a manual manipulation of my shoulder while under anesthesia in order to break up scar tissue. The procedure comes with fairly significant risk and isn't necessarily a fix all. It was during this appt while examining my elbow/wrist that something occurred that caused significant nerve pain. The nerve pain was the worst pain I've ever felt! Comparatively, the shoulder replacement was a walk in the park! My husband and I had previously experienced positive results with dry needling. Going to Ascent for the dry needling and PT on my shoulder has literally given me back my life! After waking up with a cold the morning of the scheduled procedure, we decided with Jeff and Will's guidance to see what we could do with PT and forego the manipulation. Fast forward... after feeling like I wouldn't be able to do the activities I love again without pain, I am back to an active lifestyle hiking and biking while essentially pain-free!!! I worked with Jeff and Will primarily, but also had a session with Tess. All of them are extraordinary, and I don't believe that Jeff (the owner) would hire anyone that isn't top-notch. Lauren and Arby at the front desk were also extremely helpful and kind to work with. We're of the age and lifestyle that we'll likely need PT at some point moving forward and feel so very fortunate to have Ascent Therapy in our neighborhood!!!

As I sit here thinking about the past couple months, I can't believe that I am pain free and moving on with my life. What a lucky break that I found Ascent Therapy Clinic in Littleton. I went in for help with severe sciatic pain, low back issues, knee pain and arthritis pain in my hand. I knew I was in the right place as soon as I was pleasantly greeted by Arby and Lauren, the clinic's admin staff. They directed me to my PT, Dr. Jeff Mils. Jeff explained what he hoped to do for me, including a succinct description of dry needling, a fabulous addition to the home exercise program he gave me. Jeff's patience with all my questions, and the positive environment of the clinic helped to make my outcome a great success. I recommend this clinic and any of the staff available to help you.You won't regret that decision.

My husband had to have a second knee replacement to the same knee last December. He fell right after we arrived in CO from CA and he did irreparable damage. Needless to say we were terrified of everything. But on Dec 21, Dr Charlie Yang and his team went in and fixed it. .......fast forward We then had to start PT and my husband was needless to say, healing at an amazing rate on his own. We chose Ascent as his PT therapy. From day one, Will was amazing. Not pushy, worked at my husbands pace. Now my husband had been treated for a form of let's call it 'neuropathy' because nobody ever gave us an answer in CA for years. Where he would wake up with cramping and could barely walk. He was on two medications for six years. Will told us about DRY NEEDLING which is not allowed in CA. And my husband tried it. ...... One session- no cramps. We cried. My husband continues his therapy, he has just started playing golf on a senior league after 3 years of no golf. He is completely OFF the medications he was taking from CA, our GP here is thrilled. He will continue the dry needling as needed. This place is clean, kind, a great place to come. (Even after a wife make a wrong phone call-again, I am so sorry) Thank you Ascent. You have answered my prayers. He's playing GOLF!!
