About West Ridge Animal Hospital
West Ridge Animal Hospital has been serving the animals of Northern Colorado since 1968. The hospital remains the only full service AAHA-accredited hospital in Greeley and has recently achieved the highest level of accreditation available. They specialize in all companion animals including avian and exotic, using advanced procedures like laparoscopy, acupuncture, and digital imaging. Clients praise the hospital’s cleanliness, timeliness, and the professionalism and knowledge of the tech and veterinarian. The compassionate staff has helped clients through difficult times, such as laying a beloved pet to rest peacefully, and finding solutions to care for an animal at home during treatment. They are known for their gentle and empathetic approach, especially when saying goodbye to pets or calming nervous animals. The staff also provides thoughtful touches like engraved cedar boxes for ashes and paw impressions. Overall, West Ridge Animal Hospital offers exceptional veterinary care and service to the community.
I called at approximately 7:15 at night on a Friday and with no wait, I was able to get in and have my dog seen after a couple bite wounds. Tests and cleansing as well as pain meds and antibiotics were presented and they were very clear with their intent as well as prices. All of the stuff I encountered were very pleasant and attentive. Thank you so much for caring for my 14 yo kiddo that still doesn't know she's 14😊
Huge shoutout to Josslyn. Your kindness and humor are medicine to us sad duck moms just as much as your expertise and gentleness was medicine to our hurt duck. The genuine care you showed both us and Mrs. Norris has been unmatched and I truly cannot thank you enough. You are a perfect angel of a human and I am so happy we had the gift of you being on the team to help our little duck.

We have had several dogs and trips to West Ridge. They really care about the animals. They do a great job with diagnosis and treatment. They are very nice to the animal parents, explain very well what is going on.
The procedures are expensive, if person doesn't have excess funds advisable not to get a pet. They will need a vet at some point.
