“I’m new to the area, so it took me a little while, but I have found MY barber!!! I’m getting married in two weeks, and my fiancé suggested that I use her two son’s barber, Earl. I needed a haircut and my beard trimmed. She set an appointment for me online and I walked in and immediately was impressed with the setting. It’s like walking into an old time barber shop. I was surprised there weren’t a bunch of guys just sitting around and chewing the fat while Earl gave haircuts. But it was just Earl and me. I usually get a haircut every 3-4 weeks, but it had been 6 or 7 weeks since my last haircut. So I told Earl I was getting married in two weeks and I usually cut my hair very short (to the point I can’t even comb it, I just have “bed head” all the time), but I told Earl that since I’m getting married, my hair and beard were at his disposal and I wanted his recommendations on what would look best on me. He suggested a “gentleman’s cut”for my hair and to taper the beard to elongate my face. I said that sounds great! Over the next 30-45 mins I had one of the best barber experiences I’ve ever had. Earl is a great guy to talk to. Plus he kept checking with me to make sure I was okay with what he was doing, which I was. Once the Gentleman’s cut was complete and he made sure I was happy with it, he moved on to the beard trim. I’ve only had a beard since the beginning of the year, so I’ve been struggling to figure out how I should trim my beard. But Earl knew exactly how I should have it for the shape of my face and head. When he was done he explained what he did and told me that if I need a trim before the wedding to give him a call. It was a great experience! And like I said, I have found MY barber!!!
