“We had D&M replace the roof on our home after the East Troublesome Fire. James Gebhart, D&M owner, was recommended by others locals who said that he did good work for them. His price was fair and he obviously had broad experience and good working knowledge in both residential and commercial roofing. He also worked with some respected roofing trailblazers who introduced new approaches that are routinely used today.We found D&M and James honest, diligent and conscientious. His crews worked hard, were skilled, experienced, and were enjoyable to interact with (although my command of Spanish is very limited). The crew needed James’s guidance in challenging situations, which he quickly provided in a patient and ‘developmental’ manner. He was not on the job continuously, a typical necessity in growing entrepreneurial businesses.We had a few minor ‘punch list’ items that warranted ‘non-urgent’ attention. All of these were rectified in a responsible and quality manner.We will do business with James Gebhart again, although our other smaller roof’s should not need replacement any time soon.
