We LOVE River Valley. They are one of few companies around here that offer after hours services. Twice in the last year they have happily come out at an odd day and hour to see what has happened to our AC. This time it what Chace that came out. He was friendly, helpful, and understanding that we have two small children and a working AC is a must. Last year, I was pregnant and called cried because of how hot it was and how miserable we were. They pick up quick and are usually there within 20-30 minutes. Thank you River Valley!
We recently relocated to Canon City from Arizona, and our garbage disposal died within a couple of weeks. Not being familiar with the local vendors, we asked a neighbor for a recommendation—River Valley Plumbing and Heating was the reply. We took a chance and called their office and spoke with Amy, who scheduled us to replace the disposal the next day. She even let us know the installed price beforehand so there would be no surprises. Later the same day, Amy called and said there was a cancellation and they could come that afternoon. Mike showed up on time and immediately diagnosed the problem: the disposal was OK. Pieces of metal and gravel had jammed it. He promptly cleaned the drain and hit the reset button, which worked! He filled the sink twice to double-check to ensure it was working correctly. He instructed us to use the wrench and reset button if we have similar problems in the future. We were only charged one-half of the standard trip charge. Mike wasn't only a friendly, intelligent, and competent plumber; he was neat and cleaned the area thoroughly before he left—a total gentleman. Even our dog, Caleb, loved Mike. I highly recommend River Valley Plumbing if you want work done efficiently by friendly people with reasonable pricing.
