“April's studio is such a beautiful space full of sunshine and positive vibes. Anna is absolutely a delight. I felt heard, seen, and respected. My first appointment was just a trim, and even with that simple service, I left feeling gorgeous with the healthiest locks of hair I've ever had. My second appointment was a partial custom color and trim. It was my first time coloring my hair and I felt completely at ease, trusting Anna's experience and wisdom. The lived-in, multi-dimensional color was a beautiful way to elevate and brighten my hair, which in turn complimented my skin tone, and mellowed out my silver strands. Rather than hiding the silver, it sort of just melted them away by adding in beautiful tones and ribbons of warm, deep brown. I could not be happier, and in fact, the grand reveal at the end brought me to happy tears, unexpectedly. I've always wanted to see how I'd look to look as brunette. Now in my almost-mid-40's, I finally dived into the self-care journey and this treat to myself allowed me to finally truly embrace my silvers and celebrate what a deep, warm, brightening of my hair color can do to my skin tone and overall look. I trust Anna implicitly and am soooo grateful to her, to April, and to this beautiful space and people. Thank you so much, Anna! I am very excited to be on this hair journey with your guidance. The space is inspiring, the products they sell are amazing, but most importantly the stylists are amazingly TALENTED and FUN to be around!

I’ve been working with Alicia for 2+ years now and plan on sticking with her as long as I’m living in Colorado! ? Plus, Alicia’s little corgi, Ellie, makes the space all the more special and inviting.

“Getting a haircut as a non-binary person has often been a stressful experience that has left me feeling uncomfortable with the process and unhappy with the end result. I’ve seen both Omar and Jasper at Trivium and both of them are really great and fun to work with.

I’ve been seeing Omar more recently, and they are so skilled at recommending types of hair styles and hair colors that will work well with my features, as well as helping me understand hair care and maintenance much better. I feel like I learn something new about my hair every time I go in to see them, and they have never steered me wrong with their recommendations when I’m trying to make a new aesthetic decision.

It is also so relieving to work with someone who understands being non-binary and knows what types of styles may cause me more dysphoria, so that I don’t need to constantly over-explain and justify what I’m looking for in a more androgynous haircut as I have had to at other salons in the past. In all my visits to Trivium with both Jasper and Omar, I’ve never felt misgendered or pressured towards more feminine hairstyles the way that I have elsewhere. Highly recommend working with either of them if you are non-binary, trans, or anywhere else in the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. In addition, Sam at the front desk is very kind and friendly and great to work with.“

“This is a professional Aveda salon with qualified stylists that know current trends. I met Sarah today, stylist, who gave me a fresh cut to fix my botched cut that I had a year ago at another salon. I haven’t had a good hair day in a year but today I left uplifted and very happy.
