Space Coyote Tattoo is a private tattoo studio and small art gallery located in the heart of Estes Park, Colorado. Previously known as Mystic Mustang, the shop is now under the ownership of artist Evan, who took over at the beginning of 2020. We stopped in while on vacation, at the start of our vacation to make sure there was availability. Evan was super nice and helpful. We told him what we wanted. Mine was simple just words my wife had a more involved design. We scheduled and appointment on our last day, we had a hot tub and didn't want to lose anytime in that because of new tattoos. We spent about 3 hours or so with Evan super cool and chill guy. This was my first tattoo but not my wife's. He explained everything as he went and made sure I was happy with the design. Did a great job explaining aftercare. He did a wonderful job on my wife's tattoo. I know tattoo places especially in tourist areas can have a bad rep but not this place. Evan was super busy but made great connection with each person. We had gotten there a bit before our appointment and there was a group getting small tattoos. The vibe of this place is awesome. Definitely recommend this place. I am already working on my next tattoo to be done here.
Evan was awesome and did a great job on my whole families tattoos. We came in the day before right before closing and booked spots for the next day. He knocked all 4 out in a row and had great pricing. I live in Denver and would drive back to him for my next tattoo he was that good.

My tattoo is amazing!! The shop is really really clean and the artist is very professional! I read the reviews about him not being super happy and cheery and chatty but frankly I probably won't ever see him again but the tattoo he did...I will see every day of the rest of my life and I AM SO HAPPY!!! Evan did a great job!! Next day edit: well I did see him again because I got another tattoo . He did such an amazing job on the dragonfly I had to have another one to keep the symmetry on my arms. AMAZING!!! (do not judge my bad picture taking skills plz )
