“I came in to see Jean for extractions. Having seen multiple esthisticians over the years I think Jean ranks in the top tier. Extraction is not a comfortable process anywhere you go, but your face shouldn't come out looking more beat up than it did before you came in. Of the five ladies that I've seen, only two have addressed my breakouts without leaving my face looking raw. I'm not sure if it's because they don't soly rely on that dreaded looped tool to press on your skin, or if it's because of the high frequency device used in the end, but Jean is one of the only two ladies I'm willing to see for facials and extractions.“

“At the risk of attracting too many visitors I have to state that the Niwot Inn is one of the most welcoming destinations in the US. Everything about the inn is charmed and charming. So much care has been spent in proving a nurturing environment. The rooms are not just tastefully decorated, but the amount of care and attention to details is exceptional, especially the use of natural stone in the bathroom and around the fireplace. It is a place of relaxation and comfort.

A separate paragraph for the owners and staff is also merited. They care about their guests, and not just in answering commonplace questions. They smile and engage in meaningful conversations, thus providing a context for the township that surrounds the inn. The guests we met there reflected the warmth and attention the owners and staff.

A continental breakfast is available and provides all that is necessary to begin the day afresh and invigorated. We were unable to partake in the evening wine and cheese offering, but just knowing it was there added to our comfort. A rainy afternoon would have provided ample justification for returning in time to enjoy the treat.

Finally I will add that the town of Niwot is also worthy of exploration. Near enough to Boulder for easy access, it is not large, and the residents obviously care about the town and its stores, which are eclectic and very atmospheric, especially the old smithy.

Fun ,caring and professional. The even have a mascot dog Apollo that is there to say hi to us all. The ladies in my family just love this place. Just found out can do facial waxing too.“

“I had a fabulous experience here. I got a 50 min massage and the person booking my appt told me there was an opening for a complimentary infrared sauna session beforehand. I also like that the waiting areas and separate- I had the room to myself with tea and snacks before my session. The massage itself was excellent. I had Shannon and she did a really good job. Afterwards, I was offered complimentary champagne. No notes!“

“I started getting massages for stress relief at the Boulder Spavia & followed Gerald who relocated to the Orchard Town Ctr location. My experiences with Spavia has only been great & the monthly memberships are a good value. (You're just prepaying for discounted services once a month). The locker rooms have nice robes, sandals, showers & blow dryers. The retreat areas are wonderfully darkened with heated neck wraps, herbal teas, water. I usually enjoy extra time relaxing there after any service. There's no time limit & I'm never rushed to check out. That alone is worth a visit. My only request would be adding a sauna, red light therapy or head spa services...“

“I love Vincent! He's very intuitive and professional. He will do deep tissue if that's what your appointment is for, but he's aware of how you feel and will back off if he senses you're tensing up. Even if you request no talking, he checks in to make sure you're getting the massage you want. I bought a membership years ago, cancelled it after a few meh massages, and after two massages from Vincent I signed up for another membership. I go once a month now. Vincent is a great masseur. And the women at the desk are always very quick, friendly, and professional.“
