It looks great and everything works better, They took the time to add subs to increase better heat flow into a heretofore cold area, replaced ancient dryer venting and made outstanding suggestions along the way to make this area pleasant. Brian did some heroics like going to IKEA for me and even removing garbage in the staging area a couple of times to make our lives more comfortable. I would definitely use them again in future for restoration or renovation.“

The sellers hired a different company whom, after 6 separate attempts to resolve the issue were unable to.At this point we had Reliant Radon come in and they fixed the issue on the first try. The feeling my wife and I got from watching our radon levels plummet within a day of their visit cannot be expressed in words, especially given how long it took to get this resolved in the first place. I was not happy with the company who worked on my initial home remodel and after interviewing multiple contractors I landed on Built by Krueger.From the initial meetings with Matt and Brian to Sam with his estimates and attention to selections and detail to Nate on site, I am delighted to say I am thoroughly pleased. We needed assistance getting the final permits and documentation with Boulder County and these guys were phenominal, on the ball life savers. My stress level was immensely reduced due to their efforts.Sam is light hearted and professional. He sincerely listens to what you want and works to ensure you also get what you need. He’s patient and works to be thorough with all the finish selections and quotes through the hand off to the onsite man when construction begins.We are lucky to have Nate as our on site guy. He’s easy to talk to and treats you as an equal. He is Just like Sam in that he works to help you achieve your vision and are happy with the results. I love the opportunity to walk the project and check in. I’ve even looked for additional projects just to keep them around.Nelson is amazing. While I am the designer on these projects Nelson has an added artistic eye. I would give him a general idea with drawings and Nelson would find ways to make it even more impressive. He’s unbelievable at matching stains with different woods and ensures things are not only built well but look beautiful as well. I’m very grateful for his knowledge and vision in every unique aspect I added.Much of our construction has occured throughout Covid. The contractors and teams Krueger has working for them are all cautious and respectful of the issues this brings. “I hired this company to build a wall with a door, and do some electrical wiring. They were able to get the job done quickly, and as cost-effectively as possible. They were very responsive. The room looks just like the house came that way. You really can't tell a difference. The biggest thing I love about working with them is that after I had already paid them I noticed a couple of minor issues that I couldn't see because the light wasn't right. In the past I've had companies that I already paid for similar work ignore me or take forever to fix it (because they already got their money). That wasn't the case with these guys. “Brady and his team at Van Matre construction did a fantastic job repairing our foundation and facilitating the many associated projects. Brady was very thorough in explaining the problem and how to fix it. Throughput the process the team was very clear about the project status and what was being done. They were also very forthcoming about any issues that arose, and made sure address them. Chris and Joel (the primary duo who did the foundation work) were always friendly and made an effort to keep the inside of our house clean and free of dents and dings. The project was completed without going over budget and our house looks better than it did before.The primary work being done was foundation repair, but several other improvements were added on. Our foundation wall was leaning in ~2.5" due to expansive clay around the house. The wall was pushed back and reinforced with helical piers and an adjacent wall was reinforced (but did not require helical piers). They added drains along the two walls, a sump pump, replaced the window wells, replaced the windows, and contracted having the concrete patio re-poured (it needed to be destroyed to repair the wall).My wife and I agree that it was a great experience working with Brady, Adam, Chris, and Joel at Van Matre Construction. We have no worries about the condition of our foundation. The work they did was top notch.Services: Project management“
