The seamstress at national velvet did an AMAZING job altering my sequined, semi-formal dress! I was nervous she wouldn’t be able to do it due to the nature of the fabric. Her work exceeded my expectations!! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they were able to have my dress done within a week. I will definitely be back for future alterations and dry cleaning. I wasn’t sure where it was located and one of the girls came out of the building so I could find the place easier, and stayed on the phone giving me directions. She was very sweet and helped me pin my dress, and had it done early on the day I requested. When she was assisting me, she still made sure to greet those who came in, and politely tell them she would be right with them. My dress was hemmed to the length it needed to be. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

I was charged $72 to replace a zipper on a $50 hoodie. I was shocked when I received the bill! Called and spoke with John the owner the following day and he told me it's a third party seamstress that does the work and they had nothing to do with the pricing. John was very nice and understanding with helping me resolve the issue.
