Ellie's Place

I asked for a specific haircut using a picture which I showed to Ellie. I already had something similar but I wanted something a little more like the photo I shared with her. She got it close, so very close. If I was to be in CO longer, or if I ever visit and need a haircut, I will definitely try to get an appt with Ellie's Place. It usually takes a few cuts to really get a feel for my type of hair (thick and coarse and bleached). Then, on a previous visit, she repaired a very bad cut from a different vendor there in town. I think I've decided that most women wear their hair long in Durango, so cute short cuts are not very common. Ellie did a wonderful job evening up the disaster I was left with, and I'm forever thankful for that! See you next time Ellie!

Ellie is great!! She is an expert colorist and blended shades to give me a beautiful new color. She also gave me a great well needed trim of my growing out hair. She incorporated shape and pretty movement. Love it!!

Ellie is absolutely amazing with blonde coloring. She uses an ammonia free product that doesn't leave my hair dry and brittle. She is a master artist with color and I highly recommend her!
