I love this vet for my cats! All of the staff are super helpful, especially Erika. My cats love that they can roam around the exam rooms. The room with all of the plants is amazing! The vet did her exams with them on the floor to make them more comfortable, and even had some catnip from her garden. They are also very efficient.
Called to get my dog spayed. They were booked for a couple weeks, and I passed off my situation as needing it sooner than later, which in my mind was accurate. But due to the thorough education the receptionist gave me, I was enlightened that it would be better to wait numerous weeks after the dog was past her first heat. She could have just been direct with her answer and that was it, but she inquired about what kind of dog it was, etc. Another place in town I called was just matter of fact, and almost rude as if this is what we recommend, and that's it. The size of the dog, the type of dog, none of it mattered. A red flag. This lady was very nice and patient with my questions. I'll definitely be taking my dog here when the time comes. The other 2 places I've dealt with in Durango I'd be wary of.
AMAZING CARE TEAM! Only got to use this vet twice…my sweet Athena was super sick, so sadly had to be put down, but all the staff I dealt with (Dr Becky, Dr Emilie, Rowen, & Lauren) were BEYOND understanding and accommodating towards me and my doggie. They even coordinated our care between Durango and Austin, TX. Will NEVER forget their kindness❣️ Much appreciated, Cheryl F
