I unfortunately had to cancel an appointment with Vital Kneads, and have been unable to get a refund despite canceling more than 24 hours in advance, which I believe is this business's policy. I have tried contacting the business several times and have not heard back.

Scam. I booked an appointment and it made me prepay and add a tip at that time, which seemed odd to me. I received an appointment reminder email and an email about filling out the new client paperwork the day before my appointment. I left work and sat in traffic to make my 530 apt and when I arrived the friendly staff who was there seemed shocked I had an apt since they hadn't seen her there all day and thought she was moving (which seems like a pretty planned type of thing). I checked my email and an hour before my apt a cancellation email notification had been sent over. I had provided my phone number when booking and with such short notice of canceling (esp when I would have needed to do so 24 hours in advance) a phone call or text would have been nice. I tried calling and my call was sent to voicemail which I left then also sent an email about when I get my refund, and never got any sort of response. Not only was this rude and unprofessional but wasted my time and money to drive to this place in the middle of traffic with barely any notice of cancelation. Had I received any sort of response I probably wouldn't have spent time leaving a review but since I'm now sitting on hold with my bank to dispute the charge I figured I'd write one to warn others.

Emily is a very knowledgeable and experienced massage/body work therapist - and she has a nice studio with great ambiance. Since y massage therapist was out of town and a friend recommended her, I decided to give her a try. I'm glad I did. Emily is on another level. I've experienced massages from quite a few therapists, and Emily ranks at the top. She's thorough and works deep to break up the fascia and knots. I highly recommend her. You deserve it.
