I recently moved to the Denver area and was looking for a new hair stylist. I couldn’t be happier with Lizzie! Lizzie makes me feel so comfortable. There’s some salons that I feel like I need be prim and proper but with Lizzie I’m able to bring my full self even if I’m not feeling so hot. I’ve never been disappointed with my hair! Lizzie cuts and colors my hair and I always leave happy and confident in my new hair. I also love the products she uses!

Lizzie is a hair maestro, and an absolute gem of a person too!!! She has an eye for color and is so skilled and efficient with my thick hair. I can show her a photo or describe a look and she always manages to execute it perfectly. I truly enjoy my time in her chair and have never been disappointed with her service. I love the aesthetic of her salon, who doesn’t love a good gothic vibe with moody colors, crystals and plants? And, her business is truly inclusive of all clientele, I couldn’t recommend her more.

I love Lizzie so much! I have been seeing her for the last 6 years, and in that time I’ve been complimented on my hair more times than I can count. She has been with me for many hair journeys- dark and short, long and blonde, and just about every style of bang imaginable. She also did my hair for my wedding- which was stunning. Beyond her expertise, Lizzie is also a pleasure to spend hours with in the chair and her space is so calming and welcoming. I always look forward to my appointments. I can’t recommend Root and Shadow enough!
