Daltile Stone & Slab Center

I'm in the process of replacing my Corian countertop with granite and am working with Home Depot, who strongly urged me to personally inspect the granite slabs prior to installation, as the small samples were not indicative of the scope of the stone. Daltile is the stone manufacturer with whom the installer works and when I called to arrange a time to inspect the slabs, I spoke with Angie, their very friendly Showroom Consultant. Their showroom is large, clean, and airy and I was greeted by Angie, who was courteous, knowledgeable and just a delightful individual in person, as she had been on the phone. Angie took me to the back to look at all the slabs, including the one I had initially decided on, which turned out to not be a good fit for my backsplash, which I was not replacing. Once Angie learned I was out of my depth in selecting the perfect granite for my countertop, and after looking at the photos of my beautifully tiled backsplash -- which she identified as Travertine -- she cheerfully took me around, showing me which slabs would bring out the colors of my backsplash. Angie did not tire of showing me a wide selection of slabs, and made me feel very comfortable. Eventually, we got to a new stone which, with Angie's expertise, I realized was absolutely perfect for my backsplash! It was a brand new stone and Angie made sure I left with samples. During our inspection, she had been well prepared with the necessary paperwork showing the price, which made selection easier. But, she did not stop there! Although I was not in the market for new Travertine tiles, Angie took me over to that section and gave me a quick lesson on how to care for my Travertine tiles. She further outdid herself by giving me samples of products to take care of the Travertine. Angie is fantastic! As Daltile's Showroom Consultant, she is an excellent representative of her Company. Mark Deagan was our designer and he was absolutely fantastic!! He listened closely to our preferences and needs and came through with many amazing ideas, tiles and covered all the details that an amateur would never think of or know. We are very excited about our selections and we know that the outcome will be outstanding-all thanks to Mark and his know how. And, he's incredibly patient too!!
