Went in for a routine PDT facial treatment. The amount of time I saw the dermatologist was a blink in the eye. The whole experience seemed rushed. There were no handouts on post-procedure care given; a few words by a tech was it. Also the tech forgot to secure my hair before the blue light was turned on so treatment of scalp at hairline was minimal. There are plenty of other options for dermatology care......
I didn't realize until fairly recently that you can use your medical insurance for dermatology. I saw Dr. Broussard for a skin exam; she was nice. She said one small mole on my arm was unusual, so she removed it for a biopsy. It came back with no concerns, but a good example of why it's worth going to the derm every once in a while to catch anything before it gets big and harder to treat.
Dr. Meg Lemon is an exceptional doctor. She is thorough, personable and always accurate with everything she does. The medical assistants and front desk staff at the Poplar office are always kind and helpful.
