The best gym in CB! I absolutely love this place and the trainers! Carrie Jo is amazing and I have been taking a bunch of classes with Meriska and LOVE her! I recently broke my hand and they have been nothing short of amazing with modifying the workouts for me and being super supportive, knowledgeable and encouraging! The gym is clean with great lighting and located at the end of elk ave! The community here has been warm and welcoming since my first day and have all been so kind and inspiring! A wonderful and friendly gym. I dropped in as an out-of-towner looking to get a pump while on vacation. I normally do CrossFit and was looking for something similar to burn off the pizza and beer from the week.
The gym and instructor were perfect - showed up to a white board of work - jump rope, bench-press, for time cal/pull-ups, and other great work. I will certainly return during my annual trips to CB.
One of the best gyms I've joined in my travels! Location is really prime for taking the bus, but parking is easy if you choose to drive. The facility is loaded with every piece of equipment you could want and more, and the emphasis is very much on full-body strength and conditioning. I felt like a kid in a candy store when I went in to workout on my own during open gym hours! But I also loved the group classes. This is rare for me as I generally dislike the pace and programming of group classes, but these are all so well thought out and leave you feeling accomplished at the end.
