If you have a different photographer, just know you are in good hands because Chris will have picked the person and knows who is great from the pack. Let's start with why Chris is THE BEST! Chris has wonderful "photo-side" manner. He has a loving, soft demeanor and soothing voice that puts everyone at ease during what otherwise might be stressful - to get your photo taken. But this allows your face and body to relax so your photos come out so nice with your body language. Chris did our wedding photos and engagement portraits for our Destination Wedding. The engagement photos were super high quality and did not pixelate when we blew them up to 7 feet tall for our signage. And I really loved the backdrop he had that was very colorful and actually had our wedding colors in it! The Family Studio in Colorado Springs is intimate - in the lower half of his home - but still SUPER professional with a walk-in administration desk and staff and even a parking lot! We opted to have him and his drone videographer Elizabeth do our wedding with aerial video and photography so we could get the BEST memorabilia for our week. It was incredible! Whether you are having a local wedding or need him to travel, make it happen! The energy they brought every day was unprecedented... they outdid our guests with early morning rising and go-go energy all day and so helpful each step of the way. Honestly, we could not have done our trip without the support of the two of them. All of our guests LOVED Chris and Elizabeth. Every single person talked about how much they loved our photographer and videograpger, so that is 100 five-star reviews. And I was blown away by our follow-up photo experience. We got to sit on cozy couches with coffee, teas, and waters and go through the photos on a blow-up screen as big as a movie theatre. We could easily pick out the best shots and enjoy the show! This part of the process is hours long, and his set up made it so comfortable, relaxing, and we'd do it ALL over again! Chris said he's been doing weddings for 40 YEARS and has done over 1000 weddings, which adds up to over 20 per year... that's like every single weekend in the summer months when the weddings happen every single year. It's unbelievable how much energy he has - Weddings require a TON of energy. Anyway, what came with that experience is that he knows ALL the classic shots you want and need so you don't have to think on your shotlist. He also will help you get creative to bring your personality and wedding style into the photos. I just loved every minute of it. Our photos are fun, exotic, classic, and candid, and we had a great time the whole ride through!“
