“We LOVE House of Dog! We live about an hour away, but we drive down to board our dog here anyway because this place is so good. My dog knows what vets offices look like and she will try to get back in the car if we go to the vet. When I pack her box to take her to House of Dog, she starts wagging her tail. When we get out of the car, she SPRINTS to the door to get inside. She is cautious around other dogs, but ever since boarding her at House of Dog she's been calmer in public and more interested in saying hello to other dogs. The peace of mind we get when we travel now is priceless. We KNOW she is well cared for and happy.“

“I have worked with Leona on multiple occasions. My dog was originally signed up for group classes with Spruce Mountain, and after one class, he had a hard time with being around the other pups. After speaking with Leona, she offered to switch him to individual sessions and we would revisit group training later. Due to my schedule, and living 45 minutes away, this was greatly appreciated. Leona has always been flexible, worked with me, has even boarded my pup with her to do some extensive training that I have not been able to do myself. This is my first puppy, and the work Leona has done, continues to do, and I am sure I will continue to work with her has been nothing short of fabulous. Leona not only trains my dog, she cares about my dog, his well being, and gave me the sweetest gift after he was boarded with her. “Carrie knows her stuff and that’s a definite! She goes above and beyond to share her knowledge and is super duper patient with questions, and especially patient with the pups. As much as I didn’t think we would, we really really love the Zoom (virtual) sessions. Being able to train our pup in the comfort of our home for house manners is EVERYTHING! She is super understanding and flexible with scheduling and we have greatly appreciated that as well. Carrie loves the pups and that is OBVIOUS! And her passion to get our Karma a particular type of training and officially certified being she is a pitbull means so much to us. Carrie shows soooo much love to our Karma and we love that.
