The staff is wonderful and you can get quick appointments. Their staff are so kind, compassionate and always make you feel like your dogs are their favorites! They see you on time and are very thorough with their exams. The vet at North Powers did such a great job helping us in a tough situation and was very good with explaining everything and helping to console us. They were amazing and SO sweet and caring and empathetic. They're not cheap but you get what you pay for. The team of veterinarians and staff is known for their experience and dedication to providing excellent medical, surgical, and dental care. Services offered include puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, preventive medicine and vaccinations, dental care, diagnostic testing, soft-tissue surgery, spay and neuter procedures, emergency care, and pet parent education.
Great place!! Staff are so kind, compassionate and always make you feel like your dogs are their favorites! lol They see you on time and are very thorough with their exams! Highly recommend! They were amazing when our sweet dog Shiloh was hit by a car and they helped get her stable and ready to transfer to an emergency hospital. She unfortunately did not make it through the night but North Powers was SO sweet and caring and empathetic with us that night!
The vet at North Powers did such a great job helping us in a tough situation. Our cat was attacked by another animal later in the day. The vet stayed late and tried everything she could to save our cat. The staff was very considerate, and I also appreciate how they were conscious of my budget and overall cost of care. Unfortunately our cat did not survive. But the vet was very good with explaining everything to my kids and helping to console them. It was emotionally difficult for all us, but I really respect and admire how the vet counseled us through the process and helped us deal with the loss.
We had an emergency with our dog and were given an immediate appointment. Apparently, our pup, who had low grade heart disease, was not doing well in the higher elevation. Dr. J was amazing. She took plenty of time with us to explain what was going on and put her on some meds to get her through our visit with hopes she would improve some once we are back to lower elevation. We had a follow-up a week later, and when she hadn't improved enough, she gave us another med that has worked. She is almost back to her normal self, and now we are leaving the area, so we hope she will continue to do better.
