Our experience with Jake's Designs was excellent. They converted our inhospitable spec home back patio into an enjoyable outdoor dining/ lounging area. I had been researching landscaping companies for three years by going to homeshows and reviewing online reviews. After speaking with Dani (our designer) at one of the homeshows, I place Jake's Designs at the top of our short list of potential landscapers. From initial contact to see if they would be interested in taking on our project, through completion, Jake's Designs' work crew were great to work with. They willingly made requested adjustments to construction details and diligently worked through unforseen site conditions and weather related challenges. The materials and plants Dani chose are perfect for their purpose and easy to maintain. We are very happy with the final result and highly recommend Jake's Designs.
Our experience with Jake’s designs was awesome! Our designer Dani listened to what we wanted and what we didn’t want, and came back with a great design for our house. My husband was especially happy with the putting green that was included in the design. They were very forthcoming with information and worked very hard to get us into the schedule as soon as possible. The crew that did the work was very professional and friendly. And if there was any question about anything they would ask us so that they kept going in the correct direction. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! Anyone who sees our yard compliments on how great it looks.
We recommend Jake's Designs hands down! We started out wanting a patio and a xeriscape solution to our nothing front yard of weeds and dirt. Dani listened to what we wanted, a patio and low maintenance, wildlife tolerant but pretty front area. She came back with a plan that was a work of art! It included low wattage lighting along the curvy flagstone walk leading up to a much larger and very beautiful front stoop, continuing on to the patio, which was flanked by a raised moss rock planting bed. Decorative rock and mulched planting beds completed the design, with, gorgeous hand picked boulders that were placed partially into the ground as if they had always been there. These were "worked around" by the beautiful walk and edging of the planting beds. Ryan, the project manager, was such a meticulous manager making sure we were happy with each phase along the way and handling with ease the one hiccup we encountered of the former owner's inadequate plumbing hookup for the drip system installed by Jake's to accommodate our low maintenance wishes. The crew was just as amazing as Dani and Ryan. Foreman Ryan, Angela, Anthony, tagteam Brandon and Mike were diligent, very artistic, and also meticulous making sure every curve and joint were cut and placed just right. They were relentless through weather that included snow, wind and mud. They were also genuinely appreciative as we were vocally impressed with every step. Very importantly, they were tidy. Each day, everything was straightened up, covered, put away in the trailor or piled and marked with cones. There was never a bit of trash or sloppiness anywhere. We are absolutely thrilled with the gorgeous result of Jake's creative and highly professional design and xeriscape. We recommend them absolutely! 🥰
