Got it done fast and got it done right. Had hail damage, cement over spray from the patio area being done, and areas where dogs had chewed on the siding. You can't even tell where any of that was. It looks beautiful. I would definitely use them again in the future.
*Edit - after submitting this review, Laird, the owner, contacted me and we have since resolved the below issues* Before you begin reading, I have made multiple attempts to contact this company. I have texted every person they have had text me throughout the painting process, emailed their office, and even contacted the franchiser. The franchiser informed me they have not been able to get ahold of Fresh Coat Painters of Longmont and are disturbed by what they are seeing. Fresh Coat of Longmont has made multiple attempts to hide my reviews and posts rather than address it. I have a text message from the manager who claims they came back to fix my issues and will not be returning. That is when I began to review them. This is everything you expect from an amateur painter and far from what you expect from someone who says "Painting DONE RIGHT" as their slogan. Nothing about this job is what I would wish on anybody and I hope nobody ever goes through the stresses we had to go through and will continue to have to go through to get their work redone. They claimed to complete all the touchups on an unannounced and unapproved date (trespassed) and informed me they will not be returning to fix anything in the pictures below. So this is what you can expect a completed job to look like. Also, I never met Nick, the supposed manager of our project. He was supposed to show up the day the painting started, but I was told by Julio (who seemed to be the one actually managing the project) that he wouldn't be there for another hour. So I waited. After an hour, Julio tells me it will be another 2 hours. Fast forward to the day they claim to have completed the work. I was actually at the house for an unannounced visit to see how they were doing. I get told by Julio that Nick will be there within an hour to do a walk-through. About 10 minutes later, I get a call by their front office asking when they can get the check since the house was finished and walk-through was completed. I was there, no walk-through was completed. I tell her that and she says she will talk to Nick. Nick then proceeds to call me multiple times to get info from me about when they will get the check. I am still waiting for info on when they will complete the touchups and incomplete areas of the house. The day I finally get them to do the walk-through, I am not surprised to see Nick not show up again. Instead, he sends Laird, the owner. Laird was extremely rude and blamed the shape of our walls for their lack of straight lines. While we were walking through, Julio seemed to think a lot was fixable and within his qualifications as a painter while Laird was adamant about issues being with our house (do the pictures seem like they are issues with my house?). After getting through the walk-through (which started around dinner time), Laird thinks it's appropriate to have his team start coming in with paint and brushes as if they were going to fix the issues that night. After finding out it would take several hours to complete it, I informed him I would feel more comfortable with this happening on a later date when I can be there to let them in and out and walk through with them. Since Nick has put it in a text that they completed it while I wasn't there and will not be returning, I can assume the agreed upon touch-ups will never be completed. In their terms, they clearly state you can pay by check or credit card. So, I tell Nick I'll pay by credit. He informs me of a 2.5% fee for credit car purchases. I read the terms again and saw no mention of fees associated with credit cards. So make sure not to calculate cash back bonuses into your pricing as it will be offset by the fee they don't tell you about. Therefore, I can never recommend this company to anyone. The quality of this work is absolute garbage just like the pile they left at our doorstep. Laird should be embarrassed to see these pictures as this represents his "20+ years of experience".
First, Fresh Coat Painters of Longmont was the ONLY painting company to call me back promptly after meeting them at the home show in March. Kevin came by to measure and give me an on the spot quote - didn't have to wait for a day or more to get a quote. Their pricing seemed very fair and so I said yes. Alana emailed promptly as well and we decided the following week I could start my project. This was to paint one wall in living room, the stairwell and two bedrooms. Second, they do as they say: Julio showed up on time and went right to work and was a complete pleasure to work with. Nick the project mgr also showed up as well to ensure we were off to a good start. Finally done on Friday (two days as predicted) and the owners Laird & Rayna (spelling?) showed up to ensure all was to my satisfaction. Start to finish with Fresh Coat has been nothing but awesome! I highly recommend this company and know you'll be very pleased with their services.
