My initial consultation with Ellen confirmed what I had hoped: she listened to what I wanted, let me know if it was realistic, and how she planned to get my hair to that point. Then she took me there, and I am so happy with the results. Her salon is full of personality and welcoming, and she has lots of knowledge and experience. I liked that she told me what she was going to do before she did each step, or would give me options and let me decide along the way. Ellen is a long-experienced, Veda-trained stylist whose highly capable hands were more than up to the task of not only dealing with but beautifying my somewhat challenging head of hair. She takes her time, never rushing, always explaining what she’s doing and giving me tips of how to keep my hair looking its best. She is funny, friendly, warm, and very personable to boot. Her salon space exudes amber and white lights from her ceiling light fixtures to her artistically outlined mirrors and other small spaces. I highly recommend Ellen! Anyone that asks me who to go to for hair, I point them to Ellen! She educates me on how hair coloring works every time so I’m not in the dark. She’s so awesome! I had a bad experience with another hair stylist a year ago and Ellen has been awesome at fixing the issue that transpired with the other stylist and my hair is back to being beautiful because of her!
