    I brought my dog here in early 2024 for massive issues regarding separation anxiety. He was destructive, having massive accidents, and even would injure himself at certain points when left alone. Dr. Christensen worked closely with me, constantly reassuring me along the way that we would eventually find something that worked. We started out on a medication program that saw some improvement in severity of his reactions, but not total resolution. After giving that program about 6-7 months to trial, we started another program, with Dr. Christensen not wanting to give up.     Alexandra, vet admin, is my hero today! She was outstanding on every level to get my rescue, Kona, his urgent med approved on Friday 30 Aug 24 right @ closing & after for Labor Day weekend. Her determination to go the extra mile after duty hours for Kona & myself is unmatched. I would highly recommend them for anyone seeking some extra support for their animals!

    Every year Azar's, our German Shepard rescue, storm phobia got worse. Below are pictures from the summer of 2023 where Azar tried to eat his way out of the house and pulled a tooth out by the root then had to have 4 more removed since he gnawed them down and exposed the root. Our regular vet recommended Behavior Vets of Colorado since she was at a loss as to how to help Azar. Dr. Christenson is amazing. From our first appointment through transitioning back to our regular vet she has been right by our and Azar's side. She literally saved Azar's life.
