“I was visiting Breckenridge for a week and really needed a haircut. Based on the rave reviews, I took a chance on the Breckenridge Hair Company. I'm glad I did as I can confidently say that I had the best haircut I've ever had. This is quite a claim considering I have lived throughout Southern California: San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Before finding Breckenridge Hair Co, I've been walking out of my haircuts with a minor discrepancy or mistake that require a little "growing out" to hide or fix despite showing pictures or having a detailed conversation with the stylist. I've come to expect a series of trial and errors over several months of haircuts, with a particular stylist or barber to remotely get to satisfactory results. These "okay" experiences have ranged from large chains to privately owned and operated hair salons - and from moderate costs to "just short of a $100". My entire experience at this particular salon was nothing short of outstanding. I initially planned to schedule an appointment online (which was simple and easy) but had to call in since I wanted inquire if the available stylist, Natalie, was able to a zero fade. The receptionist was cordial and helpful and assured me that Natalie would have no issue addressing my concerns. I arrived 30 mins early for my appointment to discover a very welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted by the receptionist whom immediately informed Natalie of my early arrival. My early arrival and short wait time allowed me to observe the great working environment amongst the other stylists which clearly carried over to the customer experience. They treated me like a local which I appreciated. The other patrons were chatting it up and looked to be enjoying themselves as well. The salon itself was immaculate and well taken care of. Be sure to say hello to the salon mascot! When it was time for my appointment, Natalie was thorough and meticulous before and during the actual haircut. She made sure to pause and address certain aspects before proceeding. She also provided some recommendations such as removing some weight in key areas and asked if I would be open to it. Given how she was able to execute everything I asked for up to that point, I had full confidence that it would be the right move to take her advice. By the time it was all done, I had the perfect haircut. I was impressed as it didn't require a photo from my past "okay" haircuts from other salons - it was all done through the open and effective communication between the hairstylist and client. I've already received numerous compliments from family, friends, and co-workers on the haircut as well. During the haircut she explained how the salon also catered to weddings and special events. If my experience is an indicator of the other services they offer you can expect to be in safe and capable hands. If I'm ever visiting Breckenridge or Colorado again, I will make it a point to get another haircut here.“
