Cynthia is always so kind, so calming and and most importantly, so knowledgeable around products. She covers everything in a facial - from massage, masks, extractions, dermaplane etc. and always leaves my skin clearer, smoother and healthy. Cynthia’s products also are so calming to my acne-prone skin - and easy and simple to use. I’ve seen less congestion, smoother skin and more hydrated skin on a day to day basis - and leaves me with a routine which is easy to take when I’m away from home and be consistent with. I fully recommend Cynthia to anyone, regardless of skin type!
Cynthia is just the absolute best. She is so caring and thoughtful in her approach to skincare. Not only does she make her own products but she does a check-in before each facial to make sure she understands all of your needs before beginning a treatment. Her facials are absolutely wonderful, thoughtful and totally tailored to your needs that day. I am also a huge fan of her products. Not only do they work, but you can feel good about what is in them which is so important. I feel so lucky to have found her and can’t recommend her enough, she is an absolute gem!
As someone who has consistently gotten facials for 10+ years, no experience compares to what Cynthia is providing at Tru Skincare. To begin, her space is conveniently located on Pearl with ample parking space. Her studio is incredibly clean, welcoming, and calming. From the initial session, Cynthia was attentive and truly invested in learning about me, my skin, and my biggest insecurities regarding it in order to cater her treatments and completely individualize her approach to best suit my needs. She is gentle, thorough, and takes her time throughout the appointment - never making you feel like she is rushing to finish on time.
