I'm shocked by the 1-star reviews on here for Lee Hill Peat. They are a longtime local treasure. We always buy our materials here and they couldn't be nicer. We recently ordered 7 yards of planter's mix, and the driver expertly placed it on our tarp in our driveway, arrived on time and we chatted about roses for a bit. Excellent value for the money. Support local.

We live across the street and needed a smaller amount of rock for our landscaping project. They let us borrow a wheelbarrow and take two loads back to our place at a reasonable price and pay in cash.

I have driven by this place hundreds of times and never thought about it. They are friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this place to the DIYer. It isn't intimidating at all.
