I own 7 horses and Charlotte has been my vet for 12 years. I can’t say enough positive things about her professionalism and compassion. Charlotte is always willing to calmly talk me through all the options when something is going on with one of my horses so I can make informed decisions.

When one of our older horses was sick, Charlotte tried what she could to help him feel better and talked my daughter and me through what was happening in his body. Dr. Obermeier has been our Equine Vet in Boulder, Colorado for many years. She has assisted us with a wide variety of routine treatments and emergency interventions for our 5 horses and feels like a member of our extended family... I try not to miss her too much when things are going well because that makes our horses do dumb things to hurt themselves just so we can have the privilege of calling her out to the farm. Regardless of the situation, I have never been unhappy to see her truck pull into the driveway! She is like our equine godmother and we'd be lost without her conscientious care and expert assistance. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Charlotte Obermeier. We have been seeing her for 8 years, now, for a number of different horses. And she has always been absolutely amazing. She has helped us through 2 difficult end-of-life situations (one due to old age, and one not) and is currently helping us heal a bad degloving injury on our young horse's front leg. She is responsive, empathetic, willing to consult with other DVM's and try many different approaches to get the best possible outcome for each individual horse and owner.
