I am working with Dr. Amy doing the 3 month program and I'm really glad I made the call to find help. My results from the Dutch Urine and GI map tests guided the protocol that I began in November. In 3 days time, I began noticing changes for the positive. I was really impressed with Dr. Amy's knowledge and her approach to looking at the whole of my struggles and not just focusing on one aspect. She took time to explain the 'why' behind her protocols and supplements for me which helped me better understand potential root causes and provided ideas to incorporate to help me heal.

Eileen has been great for me and my 14 yo doggie. I like the chiropractors I’ve seen over the years, but Eileen is my favorite, she has a lovely, calming energy. My little border collie mix has slowed down a bit but is still going strong and taking her to Eileen regularly has really helped.

I am a physician myself, and I consider myself lucky to be a patient of Dr Connery. She is smart, well trained, experienced, efficient, friendly, and caring. When she smiles, you feel better. Admittedly, you don't go for the smiles, but it's nice to have both. She knows when to refer and when to do it herself. She works hard at trying to work the system so that we get the right answer, quickly, with minimal pain and hassle. She's good at recommending local and regional specialists and getting you in for a visit. She recommended a follow-up with one specialist yesterday, and they called me to schedule the appointment while I was still sitting on the examination table, no lie, probably about 2 or 3 minutes after the referral had gone in, it's ridiculous. I get the impression that they finish everything before they go home, this is old school, and desirable. Conversely, stuff like this does eventually raise the risk of burnout, something I fear, because I don't know what I do without Dr. Connery.
Coverage is available, which I generally don't need, so I can't really talk about it too much. Also, I haven't dealt with her partners as much, and shouldn't say too much there, although there used to be someone whom I thought was a bit of a clunker and that has been addressed, so I think there is an element of self-correction and how they operate, and they hold themselves to high standards. I've only seen PAs a couple of times and it's been a good experience.
The practice is efficient, they pick up the phone, listen, and try to get things done on the first call. I have magic insurance which they take, I can't talk about other carriers. I don't know if they would do this, but if they don't take your insurance, it might still cover lab tests and that sort of thing, somewhere, and this place is good enough you might consider paying cash and submitting to your insurance for reimbursement, or even just taking the hit. Parking isn't ideal anywhere, in Basalt you can usually get the last spot or park around the corner by the Aspenalt Lodge. At the time of my writing, they are doing a lot of work on Midland Avenue and Basalt, again, and that probably affects some of the parking availability. In Aspen you can park in the town lot which is nearby. Disabled parking is available, not much, don't ask for it unless you really need it.
I'm pretty picky about my medical care and I am delighted to have Dr Connery. For context, I travel to a major northeastern medical center, where I was on staff, twice a year for sub-specialty care. If I wanted to, I could have a PCP there, but Dr Connery is here, works with them seamlessly, and is every bit the equal of the physicians at that fancy place..
There is one issue: they have a capacity problem and it can take a while to get in. For urgent stuff I believe they save a slot or two at the end of the day, which is best practice. The only complaint I have is this, I have sent a number of patients there who are happy but wish they could get in quicker, and it's a reasonable wish. Practice knows about this, obviously, and is trying to address it, but doing so is slow and difficult. A related issue may be insurance. I do not know for sure what insurance they take, and obviously if they don't take yours, you just wasted time reading my review. Conversely, if they have a huge waiting line, they may not be super motivated to address which coverage they accept -- I am speaking in general terms here, I have not discussed this last issue with the practice.
We've been seeing Dr. Kremzier for years for our dog's hip dysplasia and she has always provided Daphne thoughtful and compassionate care. Daphne is always so excited to see her and has a spring in her step after the acupuncture.
Dr. Kuck, Lindsay and Mia at the front desk are all fantastic. My 3 year old lab, Shay, was seriously ill and dehydrated this weekend and the Willits team was able to see us almost immediately. They administered an IV with fluids and metronidazole and kept Shay for a couple hours on Saturday. When I picked her up she was noticeably better and has continued to improve. I can’t thank the Willits staff for their professional and compassionate care enough. ?

The best chiropractor in the Roaring Fork Valley. I’m not sure what I would do without Dr. Scott at Sopris Chiropractic. I started chiropractic care with Dr. Scott about 5 years ago and can’t recommend him enough! Every visit he takes the time to listen to exactly how I’m feeling and treats me accordingly. I am a very active person and have experienced quite a few mild injuries over the years. After a few weeks of additional visits and rest, I’m right back at it. Thank you Dr. Scott for all you do!

I can't recommend Dr.Eileen enough! If I could give 10 stars I would! After calling multiple places in aspen only to receive voicemails or be told the doctors aren't in (thanksgiving is a few days away), I decided to try my luck in basalt and I'm sure glad I did. The receptionist on the phone was extremely nice and was able to get me in to see Dr Eileen the same day. After arriving and stepping into the office I felt so at peace, the ambiance and diffusers they had going were so lovely along with all the pretty orchids. Dr. Eileen took me back to the chiro room and explained everything she was doing in detail. She used a some tools like the activator and percussion in a gentle yet effective way which I really appreciate. After doing my adjustment I was already starting to feel so much better but to end my session, Dr. Eileen attached some electro massager (can't remember what it's called) to my problem areas and allowed me to rest with them for about 25 minutes which was AMAZING. My entire experience was so positive and felt so healing and peaceful. I'm grateful for meeting and being worked on by Dr Eileen. Not only is she a master at her craft, she is so kind and genuine and does such a great job at making you feel calm and at home while making you physically feel better too. I look forward to my next visit. And ps they have the cutest little office pup that cares about you just as much as they do!

Matt is an amazing plumber and we're so lucky to have found him and the team at 10th Mountain Plumbing. Super clever and several times I thought I was facing a major repair only to have Matt find a 5 minute, low-cost solution. Prices in the Valley have become so ridiculous and somehow 10th Mountain has kept their pricing fair and I have yet to be surprised by a bill.

I am new to the valley and after many “day passes” at gyms up and down the valley- I found the best place to workout in the RFV. Location- Well selected spot for a Gym. Easily accessible with adequate parking. Equipment- During my search for a gym in the valley I visited 4 gyms. I come from “Mecca of the South” gym in Tennessee that has more equipment than a man could ever use. Jean-Robert’s was the closest in number of equipment. There are plenty of options for all styles of training. Price- At $95/mo for the Glenwood and Wilits location, that might seem steep to some. Competitive gyms have “one time membership fees” and only offer a discount of $20-30 to that of Jean-Robert’s. For $95/mo with the fully loaded equipment selection- it’s a no brainer. People- I have had the pleasure of meeting Jean and Bernadette. They were both very friendly as well as helpful. All of the gym staff I have interacted with have been cool. Overall- If you are looking to train somewhere in the valley, there is really only one option.

Each diamond sits in a star ?. The back of the KISS is an X of stars. The message is whenever one is kissed, she should see stars! How clever is that? I love this special necklace for its beauty, creativity, craftsmanship and sentiment. One question…..when is Michael going to make THE HUG … “O” ?
