We had an excellent experience with Monster Tree Service. The arborist, Lou, was here on time for his appointment to provide an estimate, and while he was here he got a phone call from one of his crews who had become available right then. Lou and we came to agreement on price on the spot and his guys were here within 10 minutes. The entire job was done in less than 3 hours and the trees look great! Crew #2 did a fantastic job trimming both the Ash and Maple trees! They wereknowledgeable, friendly and efficient. And, lastly, they cleaned up well afterwards. We can’t recommend them more highly.
I had a representative come out last fall due to moth damage in our pine. We decided to have it removed and scheduled that for later in the fall, with our other trees getting sprayed in March. Shortly after scheduling my wife became ill and I notified Monster that I would have to delay the removal. Shaun told me that I was under contract and that the crew had been schedule led and I would be billed regardless. I asked to speak to the owner and never heard back. Two weeks ago I was contacted again by Monster about the tree removal for March 29. I left a message explaining the situation and have not heard back. I am on the BOD for a 24 unit medium sized property. We hired Monster Tree to remove three trees, a large honey locust, a dead evergreen and a dead aspen, as well as clean up another few trees on the property. The communication was good, the work was good. Workers did a good job overall. The biggest complaint we had was a large branch was missed and left in a tree above the parking lot, which we understood could reasonably happen. However, it took almost three months of us asking them to come get the tree branch before they did. Pricing, timing, communication outside of that one incident was good!
