STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SKECTHY GUY !!!! Asking for money before even scheduling something ?? Unprofessional, and desperate, I wouldn’t trust this guy as far as you could throw him
Do not use Mike's Lawn Care! First of after setting the initial appointment they start asking for a credit card to charge before they even do any work! The communication is the worst we have ever experienced from the start to end! They can't even give you an accurate 2 hour window so you can plan your day & be there. Then they don't show up on the day they schedule your appointment & show up on other days when you're not home! I called them to help get my fiance's yard in shape to help her since she recently had a hip replacement surgery. Please be aware this is not a review on services performed, but on business practices so thats i why it is 3 stars. I just wanted people to be aware before going through the whole process. I found this company on Craigslist after searching everywhere for a company that provides lawn clean up. After texting back and forth I scheduled a date for services. After scheduling I received an email with a credit card authorization form requesting my card details for a different company name, Terra Lawns. I messaged them asking why this was necessary since I would be paying cash, and was told that if I was not comfortable I could provide the card details on the date of service before they started. They would not provide the job without me providing my card number. I have never been asked to provide a card before receiving contractor services in my life. Not for house cleaning, yard work, or remodels. My own stepfather is a contractor who completes remodel jobs worth thousands, and he doesn't ask for a card. Honestly it just seemed sketchy. Especially when they dont provide company details like the name of the company until you get the email asking for card details. Its up to you, but I canceled. A company with lack of trust in their customers from day one just doesn't sit well.
