Carpet Exchange, founded in 1987, is a floor covering retailer with 18 stores in Colorado and Wyoming. They offer a wide selection of flooring options, including carpet, tile, area rugs, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl, and countertops. A customer, faced with choosing flooring for their condo, found the process complex due to community specifications. Upon entering Carpet Exchange, they were overwhelmed by the many colors and styles, but store manager Laura Zane provided excellent customer service and knowledge. Laura allowed the customer to take samples home to see how they looked in their condo's light, and provided professional guidance throughout the decision-making process. Once a color was chosen, Laura determined the specifications needed for the community and gave the customer the best sale available, saving them money. The installer, Jan, was accommodating, courteous, and finished the job ahead of schedule. Another customer, Frankie, was praised for his help on a tight turnaround project with a great price. They recommended requesting him for quick, correct, and budget-friendly work. A third customer purchased COREtec flooring from Carpet Exchange for their home renovation in 2019. In 2023, the flooring began separating and some planks were no longer level. Store manager Laura Zane examined the installed floor and surplus planks, determining that the materials were defective. Laura submitted a claim for replacing the floor, and the old floor was removed, the base floor was leveled, and a new floor was installed at no additional charge to the customer. In summary, Carpet Exchange offers a wide variety of flooring options and excellent customer service.
