I have an extremely (awesome) difficult dog that I brought into homeward bound. He has never received the care he needed from other vet clinics. I am so very impressed by Dr. Stefanie Tande and her team for effortlessly creating a plan and executing it. Because of my experiences in the past, I had little hope. This was the absolute best decision I have made - to take my dog to homeward bound. I highly recommend this facility and the veterinarians that work there, especially Dr. Stefanie.
Homeward Bound was there for my cat and is now there for my dog. They were supportive through COVID-19 and had a clever way to take care of the animals and keep themselves and their clients safe. Now they have a fresh new practice. Dr. Meghin Kiernan is the vet that has been handling my dog who can be very protective of me. She might actually be getting him to like her.
I take all three of our pets here and have for years. It used to be more affordable, but they also used to be in a much smaller and run down facility. The facilities now are brand new and much nicer, and the prices have gone up to pay for this I suppose.
I have no complaints with this place except there are one or two receptionists that are consistently short on the phone, and rude in person. I dread having to interact with these people because they act as though making an appointment or doing any normal receptionist work is a hassle for them.
